THE HUSTLER

His name is Tobi Abiodun,

He did not attend “Igbinedion University”, na Oghara poly he go; I knew him during his OND days, now he’s an HND graduate of the Delta State Polytechnic Otefe - Oghara, my Alma mata.

His father is not related to any Dangote, neither does he have all the godamn connections that is required to make it in life!

He’s a hustler!

Just a small boy! Chasing his dreams.

He get mouth, he sabi talk. God bless am with words. He became the tailor, he cuts and joins these words together.... to bring out sentences that makes soooo much sense.

Small boy, BIG MOUTH!

He’s a poet, even though Naija doesn’t encourage much of his kind.

He remained consistent. Going places, and taking his ‘big mouth’ along.

Spitting bars as he walks the street. A poor street boy! But not from the same ‘STREET’  as you’d use it in today’s context.

He head dey house! Keeping it real.
Gone for competitions and came back, sometimes losing out, and sometimes winning in.

But he never gives up, keeps on keeping on!

Today he’s on your TV, you watch him and ask “who be this small boy sef”?

Some of you who know him before, scream: “See Tobi o!”

It is that street boy. The Lilliputian; The hustler. There he is on your screen.

Been watching BBnaija? You’ll see him advertising for Heritage Bank.

However, da one nor mean say he don blow, but you know what?

Even if he did the advert FREE OF CHARGE for Heritage Bank, he still didn’t make the wrong decision. Imagine Wole Soyinka watching that advert, and taking interest in him? When you see him in the UK, tomorrow you’ll say it’s because he has connections.

But just so you know, this is just a tip of the iceberg of his achievements, other brands are gonna look for him pretty soon.

And people are gonna love him for what he does, and who he is. Just as I do.

Posted his clips a few times on my WhatsApp status, cos all I see is potential!

His HUSTLE has started paying off!

He may not have “Handwork”, like the regular tailoring, welding, or carpentry; but he has “MOUTH-WORK”, and this is taking him places.

I bank with two banks already but as it is, I’m drawn to the HERITAGE too... I think I wanna have an account with Heritage bank.

Not because I’m keen to the bank, but because of the potential in their advert brand/Ambassador - Tobi!

And I must also give a big kudos to Heritage bank for picking up Tobi for this ad, you made the perfect choice.

And this is how it should be done! Organizations, business owners and brands, try to encourage young and raw talent by selecting your brand ambassadors from the million of raw amazing talents struggling to find their foot in the society.

It is your own contribution/social responsibility to the society; when people with talents often see their mates on TV like this, they feel encouraged and motivated to keep having faith in what they do; that one day, they’ll be used as brand ambassadors too.

I’m here too, selling myself, I can run your ads in an amazing style too.

That’s how it should be!
Stop going after TuFace, Davido, Wizkid, Burna boy and CeeCee! They’ll charge you heavily just to have their face on your bill board and platforms. They have made it BIG already; they have their names already, and will not go hungry in a long time!

Why not select from we the “Hungry” ones, by bringing us on your platform for just a token, or even for free
We’ll be glad to be there!

Na so e suppose be!
Kudos to Heritage bank!

My point to y’all ees dees; BE CONSISTENT IN WHATEVER YOU DO! Your hustle go pay!

He’s a Nigerian, a dream chaser. He has done the job of a mason before; serving mixed cement and blocks. But here he is today!

So Stop complaining. The fact that you were born in a country as Nigeria is not your problem.

If you refuse to utilize your God-given potential, You are your own WITCHCRAFT!

In the words of Tobi: “WARRIORS FIT GIVE ANYTHING, BUT WARRIORS NOR DEY GIVE UP!

Don’t GIVE UP pls! It’s too expensive Abeg!
Hustle till your future GREEN!
