THE UNSINKABLE

We all have read or seen the movie about the British passenger liner carrying an estimated 2,224 passengers and crew abroad that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in the early hours of 15 April 1912 after colliding with an iceberg thereby triggering the death of over 1500 people including her architect Thomas Andrews who designed the ship,🚢  making it one of the deadliest commercial peacetime maritime disasters in modern history. It was beyond the fondest imagination of the ship’s builders Harland and Wolff that the ship which was 882ft long, 175ft tall and 64ft deep would somehow be incapacitated and end up a wreck. They tagged it ‘FLAWLESS’ it was second to none; UNSINKABLE! ‘Not even God can cause this ship to sink’ so they said forgetting that even God’s foolishness is wiser than man’s wisdom.
